Since the 13th Five-Year Plan period (2015-20), Hechi has signed a total of 212 projects at the 13th, 14th, 15th, and 16th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO), as well as the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS), of which128 projects have started.

The CAEXPO and CABIS, which have been successfully held for 16 years, have developed into an all-around open platform for China-ASEAN high-level dialogues, economic and trade cooperation, as well as professional exchanges, becoming a renowned calling card for Guangxi and China.

Hechi attaches great importance to participating in the expo and summit. Every year, the city forms a delegation as the investment promotion team, which consists of people in charge of relevant departments, industrial parks, and 11 counties (districts) to participate in activities like investment project matchmaking seminars, project signings, as well as precision investment promotion in the fields of healthcare, logistics, new energy, new manufacturing, new materials, modern agriculture, service finance, and infrastructure construction.

In addition, Hechi has continued to further optimize its business environment. The city has successively issued a series of investment promotion policies, took the lead in establishing a service mechanism for investment promotion projects in Guangxi, as well as implemented one-to-one special services to effectively solve the problems and difficulties encountered in project implementation and enterprise development.

The 17th CAEXPO and CABIS will be held in Nanning from Nov 27 to 30 this year. Hechi will continue its efforts to further innovate its investment platform, expand its investment cooperation space, and deepen regional cooperation to ensure the landing and development of projects, as well as to promote the high-quality economic development of Hechi.
