The trade in services exhibition of the third China International Import Expo will have more than 250 exhibitors showcasing services in finance, logistics, consulting, testing and tourism, organizers said on Monday.

The expo will take place in the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai from Nov 5 to 10.

This is the first time that the finance section will include non-banking finance such as securities, credit agencies and supply chain financing companies. The number of finance exhibitors will be double that of last year, said the CIIE Bureau.

"Gathering good companies, products and services across the world, the CIIE has huge potential for trade and investment, and that's what we've learned as an attendee in the previous expos," said Liu Guoping, chairman of the China branch of Orix, a Japanese diversified financial services group.

He added that the company will present many services that connect resources between China and Japan, and sign a strategic cooperation agreement with major Chinese cities during the expo.

According to the CIIE Bureau, the consulting section has also been expanded, with companies offering more specialized services covering a wider range of industries.

CBRE, a commercial real estate services and investment firm, is set to make its first appearance at the expo with a 108-square-meter booth "CBRE Future Center".

The company will launch property technology solutions and a strategic consulting service, release its Outlook 2030 series reports, and sign cooperation agreements with governments and clients.

"We've come to the CIIE not only to promote our professional services and innovative solutions, but also to show the great opportunities in the China market as the economy has remained resilient after COVID-19," said Eric Xiao, head of marketing and communications for CBRE's China branch.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, SGS, a Swiss testing and inspection company, will exhibit a public health management service that allows for testing to be done in a public space, such as a school or a shopping mall. Test results can be obtained in just 15 minutes.

The Dun & Bradstreet Corporation, a United States commercial data and analytics company, will showcase at the expo a new index, which provides a risk evaluation of a company based on the impact that COVID-19 has had on the company's location and supply chain.

The logistic section will continue its focus on the international logistics of the Belt and Road Initiative, and will be attended by more than 30 ports enterprises.

In the tourism section, Marriott International will introduce its new brand Moxy, and Granite Springs Golf Club will bring its lifestyle and community management services to the expo.
